Keenan Ingram is a student at Central Piedmont Community college working towards a degree in Broadcasting and Production Technology.

​

      He’s dreamed of becoming a sports broadcaster since his sophomore year of high school. Just because injuries took him off the court doesn’t mean he has to stay on the sidelines. Covering sports as a journalist allows Keenan to tell stories about what he loves.

​

      Keenan was immediately intrigued in this career after watching First Take, a show that discusses different topics in the sports industry. Keenan began taking notes on broadcasters and doing research to see what he could do to take a step towards his goal. While doing that he realized he wanted to keep expanding his range of choices when it comes to jobs in the sports industry.

     Keenan is outgoing and passionate about sports –and its second nature to him. Sports as a child was always held near and deep to him because it kept him out of trouble. Keenan lives his life by the Winston Churchill quote, “Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”
